Guardian ad Litem Representation

As a Guardian ad Litem based in Valparaiso, I provide court-appointed or privately retained representation focused solely on the best interests of the child. My work includes structured interviews with children and caregivers, home and environment observations when indicated, and careful review of records and collateral information. I draw on my clinical background in child development and family systems to understand a child's emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs within the realities of family conflict.

I maintain strict neutrality and clearly defined role boundaries, separating investigative tasks from any therapeutic functions. Recommendations to the Court are specific, fact-based, and directly linked to observed patterns of safety, stability, and caregiver capacity.
