Therapeutic Supervised Visitation is offered as a clinical service for court-involved families in Valparaiso when safety, conflict, or transition concerns require structured contact. During visits, I provide real-time observation of parent - child interaction, attending to cues such as emotional responsiveness, boundary setting, and the child's comfort level.
When clinically appropriate, I intervene in the moment to support developmentally appropriate engagement, de-escalation, or repair. The focus is to help maintain a safe setting while encouraging healthier patterns of connection and communication.
Following visits, I maintain detailed, neutral documentation that distinguishes observed behavior from clinical impressions. Documentation and formal reporting for court may be billed separately based on the level of analysis required. This approach gives courts and attorneys clear, behaviorally grounded information while giving children access to safer, more predictable contact with their caregivers.
