I provide clinically informed Clinical & Family System Assessments in Valparaiso for court-involved and complex family situations. Each evaluation examines family dynamics, child functioning, and environmental factors that influence safety, stability, and day-to-day well-being. I use a family systems lens, considering developmental history, emotional and behavioral patterns, caregiver capacities, and interaction styles across households.
Information may be gathered through interviews, collateral contacts, record review, and structured observation, as appropriate to the referral questions. My written reports separate factual information, clinical impressions, and recommendations to support clear decision-making by courts, attorneys, and involved professionals.
For families who are not in active Guardian ad Litem matters with me, related private pay clinical services may be available to address ongoing parenting or relational needs identified through the assessment. This separation of roles preserves neutrality in court-facing work while still offering a path to clinically focused support when appropriate.
