I'm Sara Bokodi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with children and families in high-conflict and complex systems. My background includes clinical leadership and supervision within family-centered treatment models, along with years of direct work supporting families navigating trauma, behavioral concerns, and relational disruption. I established Resilience & Rights Family Services LLC to bring clinically informed Guardian ad Litem services to families and courts in Northwest Indiana, grounded in neutrality, ethical integrity, and a comprehensive understanding of family systems.
As a GAL, I integrate clinical insight with courtroom awareness. My training in family systems theory, trauma-informed care, and child development allows me to assess cases thoroughly while maintaining the objectivity required in legal proceedings. I translate complex family dynamics into clear, court-ready recommendations through careful documentation and multi-source information gathering. Beyond Guardian ad Litem work, I provide clinical supervision for social workers pursuing licensure, offer consultation to professionals navigating complex cases, and am developing parent education programs to support caregivers in reducing the impact of conflict on children.
